A hardhat was injured Friday when the roof of a room collapsed at an under-construction Brooklyn school, officials said.
Emergency responders were called to Edward B. Shallow Junior High School on 16th Avenue near 65th Street in Bensonhurst after the roof collapsed around 8:45 a.m., Fire Department officials said.
The man was taken to Maimonides Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Inspectors from the city Department of Buildings were at the scene, DOB officials said.
