If you want to step out with a big-bucks look, these gaudy stilettos are right on the money.

A 3½-inch-tall dollar sign encrusted with Swarovski crystals embellishes the 4 1/3-inch high-heeled gold leather, strappy spikes by Giuseppe Zanotti.

It helps to be rolling in dough, because the dollar-motif footwear costs $995 at the Italian shoe designer’s Madison Avenue shop.

Style and fashion site NY.racked.com put its foot down yesterday, saying the shoes “may well be in the running for worst shoes ever made.”

With the dollar sign and price tag, “These sandals scream, ‘I have more money than taste, and I want everybody to know about it,’ ” the Web site opined.

Most New York women agreed. “I think they’re tacky, gaudy and pretentious,” said Upper East Sider Sarah Rose, 23.
