A would-be bank robber was busted after leading cops on a chase through Carroll Gardens Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

Freddie Youmans, 29, allegedly passed a note demanding cash to a teller at a Capital One bank on Court Street near 2nd Place just before 3 p.m., but got spooked and ran when the teller hesitated, according to police.

Youmans was arrested after a passing cruiser spotted him ten blocks south of the bank at Lorraine Street and Clinton Street, cops said.

Sgt. Anthony Manto of the 74th Precinct jumped out of the car and dashed after Youmans, according to police sources.

He and three other officers caught and cuffed him under the Gowanus Expressway at Hamilton Avenue and Bush Street.
