The off-duty cop wounded in a firefight with four armed thugs during the botched robbery of a Brooklyn garage was raised to do the right thing — and doesn’t think he’s a hero, his proud brother said yesterday.

“He’s not about being a hero — he sees himself as someone who did what had to be done at that time. He had no choice,” John Presley said of his younger brother, Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority Officer Anthony Presley.

Anthony Presley saved the lives of three others at DSG Auto Repair in Bedford-Stuyvesant after the thugs barged in at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Presley pulled out his service revolver, announced he was a cop and ordered the gunmen to drop their weapons.

Rashawn Jackson, 18, and Kenneth, 21, both of Brooklyn, were charged with attempted murder. Their alleged cohorts fled.
