A wrong-way driver crashed into two cars on the FDR early Thursday, critically injuring two people and wounding three others, authorities said.

The three car accident on the highway happened opposite Stuyvesant Town near East 23rd Street at 4 a.m., according to authorities.

Cops say the vehicle was traveling southbound in the northbound lane when it collided with two vehicles.

All five of the injured people were rushed to Bellevue Hospital and one person refused medical attention at the scene, police said.

Police are investigating the accident.

All vehicles remained at the scene, according to police.
