David Ranta, who suffered a heart attack a day after being cleared of a 1990 murder, was “doing well” yesterday and is expected to recover, doctors said.
He’s being treated at an undisclosed New York hospital, his lawyer said.
Ranta, 58, had just toasted his freedom with a steak dinner and a stay in a New York hotel when he was rushed to the hospital. Doctors put in a stent after finding one artery clogged and another partially blocked.
