WTC steel a ‘steal’: suit
A Canadian lending company claims it’s been stiffed over the steel for the new 1 World Trade Center tower.
Maple Trade Finance suffered more than $15 million in “direct out-of-pocket losses” because Tishman Construction and the Port Authority haven’t paid contractor DCM Erectors’ invoices since late last year, a suit filed yesterday in Manhattan federal court says.
Tishman and the PA both declined to comment.
