HARTFORD — A federal judge yesterday ordered Connecticut’s top election official to allow voters to wear World Wrestling Entertainment garb to the polls.

The ruling said it could not be considered political advertising for GOP Senate candidate Linda McMahon, WWE’s former CEO.

US District Judge Janet Bond Arterton said state election laws restricting political advertising within 75 feet of polling places don’t apply.
