With wars raging across the world, Yoko Ono wants John Lennon fans to give peace a chance next month by coming to Central Park to join what organizers hope will be the largest human peace sign ever.
Ono stopped by City Hall Thursday to announce the Oct. 6 event in the East Meadow, which will honor what would have been Lennon’s 75th birthday three days later.
Organizers hope to get 6,000 people to participate so they can set a Guinness World Record.
