A young boy has died after being pulled from a South Jersey pool, reports say.

New Jersey State Police were called to a Buena Vista Township house around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday for a report of an unresponsive 3-year-old boy, according to NJ.com.

Troopers pulled the boy from the above-ground pool, according to Fox29.

Louis Carlos Dimichele was airlifted to a nearby hospital, but he could not be saved, reports say.

No further details were released about the boy’s death.
