A 9-year-old girl was clinging to life after being hit by a car in Brooklyn Thursday evening.

The girl, whom cops did not immediately name, was with her grandmother on McDonald Avenue at Avenue U in Gravesend at 5:30 p.m. when she darted into traffic and was hit on Avenue U.

She was in critical condition at Lutheran Hospital. The driver, who remained at the scene, was not charged.
