Socialist Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani got salty Saturday, trolling Mayor Adams’ leader-chip on social media.
The lefty state assemblyman announced a bizarre scavenger hunt for supporters with a nearly minute-long clip that begins with a trail of potato chips on a city sidewalk.
The footage is a nod to recent news involving Winnie Greco, the former Adams advisor roasted this week for handing a reporter a bag of potato chips stuffed with cash.

“Hello my friends. I have to come clean. I have something to hide. Many things in fact, because we’re doing a scavenger hunt,” Mamdani says in the video.
He then explains “Zohran’s Summer Scavenger Hunt” will take place across the city Sunday afternoon.
“Here’s how it’ll work: you’ll solve a series of clues all related to a very particular theme in New York City history…at the final stop, you’ll find a special surprise — not a wad of cash — so make sure you go all the way to the end,” he continues in the clip posted to social media, along with the caption, “Game on.”
The NYC mayoral nominee’s video posted to social media to market “Zohran’s Summer Scavenger Hunt,” which he said will take place on Sunday.
At the end, Mamdani can be seen cleaning up the chips.
Disgraced ex-governor Andrew Cuomo, running for City Hall as an independent, was seen earlier in the week handing out bags of chips to reporters.
Greco and her lawyer have repeatedly insisted the potato chip incident was innocent gesture despite critics slamming the move as a potential bribe.
