Michael Avenatti stopped by the Democratic National Committee’s summer meeting on Thursday as he continues to explore a longshot run for president, a report said.

The lawyer for porn star Stormy Daniels spoke to the Democratic party’s ethnic coalitions about his work for illegal immigrants and the DNC’s black caucus about how “guys who look like me” elected President Trump, according to The Washington Post.

While speaking to reporters, Avenatti was not shy about his presidential hopes.

“I’ve never understood this idea of not shooting straight with people,” Avenatti said.

“You all know which candidates are likely to enter the race. You know what’s going on behind the scenes.

“Why don’t people just come out and say: ‘Yeah, I’m considering running for president?’”

The lawyer first said he was exploring a run for president earlier this month.
