Nearly 5,000 city high-school students soon headed to college were applauded for their achievements Tuesday by a well-known high achiever: Michelle Obama.

“We also know that even in those moments when you were tired . . . a little frustrated, maybe filled with a little doubt, that you never gave up,” the first lady told the teens assembled at the 369 Harlem Armory Center.

Obama, who showed up in a Princeton T-shirt, was there to celebrate National College Signing Day with the Big Apple students — and offer some advice.

“Ask for help, you all,” she told them. “No one gets through college alone.”
