An undocumented migrant who was released at the border last year was arrested for abducting a teenage girl walking on her way to her Virginia high school, according to a new report.
Jesus Enrique Ramirez Cabrera, 23, was arrested Friday after allegedly approaching the girl on her morning walk to school and falsely identifying himself as a police officer, according to Fox News.

“She told me that she did it regardless of whether she broke a bone,” the mom told InsideNoVA. “She took the risk because she was afraid that she would be raped or murdered.”
Authorities were able to locate Cabrera’s red Jeep SUV within 48 hours, leading to his arrest.
Cabrera was caught last year crossing the border illegally in Arizona before he was released into the US, sources told Fox.
The victim said the man identified himself as a cop and forced her into his car. “It’s not just negligence; it’s a betrayal,” he added. “Our communities’ safety should never be sacrificed for reckless, politically driven decisions.”
The suspected was located at a residence in Makelys Way, in Manassas, Virginia. FOX 5 DCCabrera was charged with abduction, robbery, impersonating a police officer and petit larceny. He is being held at the Prince William County Adult Detention without bond.
A representative for Cabrera could not be immediately reached for comment.
