Vice President Mike Pence is set to deliver a speech on Wednesday about the formation of a “Space Force.”

Pence is expected to speak at the Pentagon and will address the next steps in the formation of the US military in space, according to CNN.

President Trump has called for an additional branch of the military that will consist of the proposed Space Force.

Pence’s speech will coincide with the release of the Department of Defense’s organization and management structure of space components for the department, CNN said.
