A California mother of three, who has been missing since early January, scheduled an appointment with a divorce lawyer on the day she disappeared, according to a new report.

An attorney helping the family of Maya Millete made the revelation to Fox News.

“She filled out the form. She was going to meet with a divorce attorney. That was a Thursday,” Billy Little told the network, referring to the date she was last seen on Jan. 7, at the family’s home, near Mexico.

“The following Tuesday was her appointment. But she filled out the entire form the day she went missing,” Little reportedly said.

The 39-year-old’s husband, Larry Millete, initially speculated that Maya had left Chula Vista to get some alone time. He has since stopped cooperating with police, officials said.

Family and friends of Millete have held multiple rallies in the border town to raise awareness of the woman’s disappearance.

Police told San Diego Fox affiliate KSWB that they are continuing to search for the missing mom.

“This is not a cold case,” Chula Vista police Capt. Eric Thunberg reportedly said. “We have an investigator and a team of investigators that we call upon when necessary. That detective has been working this pretty much full-time since the get-go.”
