The boyfriend of the British woman who was last seen aboard his luxury catamaran in the US Virgin Islands was arrested for domestic violence 10 years ago after he attacked his ex-wife and broke her tooth, according to reports.

Sarm Heslop, 41, of Southampton, was last seen on the night of March 7 aboard the 47-foot Siren Song, which was moored in Frank Bay, St. John, officials said.

Her 44-year-old American boyfriend Ryan Bane has reportedly lawyered up and is refusing to allow police to search his craft.

It was reported that he alerted the US Coast Guard about 10 hours after he first noticed the former flight attendant, whom he had met on Tinder, missing.

Bane was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in 2011, while he was married to Corie Stevenson, according to The Sun, which said it obtained a police report from that time.

He was arrested at their home and served 21 days behind bars after he threw his wife to the floor and slammed her head against it, causing her tooth to break, the news outlet reported.

“Ryan’s personality changed once we got married. It was a beautiful wedding in 2008 but it was like he flipped a switch,” Stevenson told The Sun.

She reported him to police after the 2011 incident, which occurred when they were returning from a wedding to their home in Lake Orion near Detroit, according to The Sun.

Bane, who had been drinking, became “abusive” to her on trip home, according to the police report viewed by The Sun.

“Ryan grabbed (Corie) and dragged her out of the truck,” she told the police officer who wrote the report, which adds: “Ryan grabbed her in the dining room, threw her to the ground and smashed her head into the floor, chipping one of her teeth.

“She says that she fought Ryan off of her. She states that Ryan has been becoming increasingly verbally abusive toward her, and that he has been physically abusive one time previously,” the report says.

“She states that this incident happened about 6 months ago, that the incident went unreported and that it caused her to miss multiple days of work with marks to her face.

“When Ryan was brought downstairs, (Corie) became noticeably frightened and ran from the area into the laundry room,” it added.

Bane was taken to the Oakland County Jail in Michigan after being arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

“I was absolutely terrified while it was happening. I saw the devil behind his eyes and it scared me. It was a totally different person who was there. It was petrifying,” Stevenson told The Sun.

“I was terrified already when he pulled me out of the truck. But during the assault my fear reached a whole other level.”

In addition to the chipped tooth, she was left with a bloody earlobe, as well as scratches on a shoulder and her neck, according to the police report.

“My face was all red and my tooth was broken. A couple of days later my face was black and blue and I had finger marks around my neck,” Stevenson said.

Bane pleaded guilty and served 21 days in the slammer. He also spent another 31 days behind bars for a probation violation in 2013, according to court documents cited by The Sun.

Stevenson, who now lives in Melbourne, Florida, said she allowed him back in the house after a separation but the couple divorced in 2014.

The Virgin Islands Police Department said it is continuing its search for the missing woman.

Bane’s lawyer, David Cattie, has said his client immediately called 911 when he realized his girlfriend was missing.
