A Mississippi man was arrested for threatening local cops in a Facebook post – and tagging the official page of the local police department.
Corey Boyce, 24, allegedly posted on May 28 that he’d torch Senatobia cops’ houses and said he’d look for their families, WREG Memphis reported.
“He tagged the police department,” Senatobia Police Detective Brannon Rushing told the station.
“Obviously, he didn’t care at that point. That’s why we took it as a very viable threat.”
Boyce was apparently ticked off that cops had arrested one of his relatives.
The accused was out on parole for grand larceny and vehicle burglary when he was arrested Tuesday for retaliation against a public servant.
He’s being held on $150,000 bond, police said.
