WASHINGTON — Mitt Romney is going to the White House after all.

President Obama today will host Romney at a private lunch at the White House, where the two former rivals will face each other for the first time since the campaign.

Obama is making good on a promise from his victory speech earlier this month that he would get together with Romney.

Romney also will meet with his former running mate, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan.
