Two North Carolina siblings who went missing over the weekend are believed to be in the New York City area, authorities said.

Fayettteville police believe mom Catrina Lucas, 20, abducted her 4-year-old Antoin Marsh and 1-year-old Destiny Marsh on Saturday and brought them to the Big Apple, the Fayetteville Observer reported.

“Our detectives are working with local authorities in the New York City area to bring a resolution to this case,” Sgt. Shawn Strepay said.

The children’s mother grabbed them from their paternal grandmother’s home where they had been placed by the Department of Social Services, police said.

Grandmother Tanya Hunt, who has legal custody of the kids, said they were wearing T-shirts and sweatpants — and no jackets — when they were abducted.

“Who brought clothes for those children? Who has milk for that baby? Who brought Pampers, wipes, anything?” Hunt asked.

She told WRAL she chased Lucas through her front yard in an attempt to get the children back and decided to call police when she realized she was outnumbered by other adults and felt physically threatened.

The kids are also likely scared since they don’t really know their mom, she said.

“I know the only thing he’s doing right now is crying because he don’t know who he’s with,” she said of her grandson.

Cops have a warrant out for Lucas’ arrest on two counts of child abduction.
