More than a dozen people were injured — two seriously — in a Metro bus crash in the nation’s capital Wednesday afternoon, officials said.

The crash unfolded around 3:45 p.m. in Washington D.C.’s Fort Totten neighborhood, the northeast side of the city, at 1st Place and Riggs Road, the DC’s Fire and EMS said.

One passenger was critical and another was in serious but not life-threatening condition, the agency said.

Eleven others were hurt but their injuries were not considered serious.

Additional details of how the crash happened were not immediately known.
