Cooking breakfast saved his life — no eggsaggerating!

The caretaker of a mosque in Ireland calmed down a knife-wielding burglar who attacked him — by cooking him a tasty plate of scrambled eggs, according to a report Tuesday.

Ali Yassine spotted the burglar, Stefan Boyle, 28, hiding under a table at the house of worship in Dublin on Nov. 2, The Irish Times reported this week.

When he asked the unhinged man to leave, he lunged at him and sliced him with a knife, causing a minor wound, according to the paper.

To knock some sense into the intruder, the devout Muslim kicked him then sat him down and cooked him breakfast, according to the Irish Times.

He asked him questions about his life and Boyle relaxed. He began venting about his lady problems and his recent release from prison, according to the paper.

But after he chowed down, the crook made off with two of Yassine’s cellphones, prosecutors said in a hearing this week.

Boyle told cops he had forgotten that he’d pocketed the phones during their 30 minute breakfast conversation, according to the UK Independent.

Boyle later plead guilty to burglary. He has 110 previous convictions, 63 of which are for burglary, the paper reported.
