That’s one big baby boy!

An Indian woman gave birth to a 13-pound baby last week — setting the record for heaviest baby born in the country, doctors told Barcroft India.

“The baby and the mum are in sound health and doing okay,” said Dr. Anamika Agarwal, one of four doctors involved with delivering the chubby child.

The average baby weight in India ranges from five to seven pounds, Agarwal added.

The boy’s mom, 30-year-old Goga Bai, is diabetic and clocks in at around 220 pounds — two factors that contributed to the baby’s weight.

“In cases where the mother is obese and diabetic, there is considerable risk of [the] child being overweight, too,” Agarwal told Barcroft.

An Italian woman holds the Guinness World Record for heaviest baby — a 22-pound, 8-ounce tot in September 1955.
