He’s going nowhere fast.
A 25-year-old Vermont murder suspect who was on the run from cops was in a rush to get back to jail after getting pulled over for speeding in upstate New York early Wednesday, state troopers said.
Terrene Biggs, who is wanted in the shooting death of 26-year-old Austin Rodrigues in Rutland in April was speeding along Interstate 90 in upstate Portland shortly after 2:30 a.m. when he got pulled over.

According to Burlington-based WPTZ-TV News, Biggs was on the lam for gunning down Rodrigues at 3 a.m. on April 22 after getting into a scuffle with the victim.
New York state police, who said Biggs was also in possession of the drug suboxone, said he’s also wanted on an assault charge in Florida.
He was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and is being held at the Chautauqua County Jail pending extradition to Vermont.
