A French-Muslim advocacy group is suing Facebook and YouTube for broadcasting live the New Zealand mass murder that left 50 mosque-goers dead.

The French Council of the Muslim Faith is going after the internet giants for “broadcasting a message with violent content abetting terrorism, or of a nature likely to seriously violate human dignity and liable to be seen by a minor,” according to a copy of the complaint filed in Paris and reviewed by Agence France-Presse.

Australian sicko Brenton Tarrant, 28, livestreamed the carnage on Facebook from a helmet-mounted GoPro as he shot and killed 50 innocents at two Muslim houses of worship in Christchurch on March 15.

The video stayed up for nearly an hour, getting more than 4,000 views — and allowing users an opportunity to copy the footage before it was removed.

New Zealand’s prime minister slammed the media companies for not being more responsible with the content they allow, and the nation’s biggest banks have pulled their ads from Facebook and Google.
