NBC Sports is holding to its commitment to sponsor the largest US gun trade show next week — National Shooting Sports Foundation’s SHOT Show — a month after the Sandy Hook massacre in which 20 kids died.

The NSSF, headquartered in Newtown, Conn., billed last year’s SHOT Show as “more than about selling and buying; it’s a powerful display of industry unity and its resolve to meet any challenge affecting the right to make, sell and own firearms.”
