A deer in Ohio got his head stuck in a plastic pumpkin just days before Halloween — leading a band of residents to join together and help free it.

The animal was spotted by multiple residents while sporting the orange bucket atop his head in a town outside Cincinnati over the weekend, according to WCPO-TV.

Neighbors realized the deer stuck it’s nose in the plastic pumpkin bucket and it’s snout became stuck. The good Samaritans then called the local family pet center for advice on how to trap it .

The residents were eventually able to encircle the deer and entrap it.

They plucked the bucket off it’s head and the deer “immediately” ran to a creek so get a drink of water.
