Nevada brothel owner-turned-politician Dennis Hof is being investigated by state cops over allegations of sexual assault, authorities said Wednesday.

The Nevada Department of Public Safety confirmed that it’s collecting evidence against the reality show star, who is also the GOP nominee for a state assembly seat.

“Based on a request from the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Investigation Division, is conducting an investigation into sexual assault allegations against Dennis Hof,” according to a DPS statement.

“As this is an ongoing investigation, no further information can be provided at this time.”

The brothel owner, whose legal sex houses were profiled in the HBO show “Cathouse,” has previously been accused of sexual assault by former prostitutes in 2005, 2009 and 2011.

No charges were ever filed against Hof.

The state did not elaborate on whether this probe has any connection to the previous allegations.

“While he has his suspicions, at this time Mr. Hof does not know exactly what the allegations are, who made them or when the alleged incident supposedly took place,” Hof’s campaign said in a statement.

“Nevertheless, he completely and totally denies that any such incident occurred and believes the allegations are groundless and politically motivated.”

Hof, who knocked off a GOP incumbent in July, will face Democrat Lesia Romanov in November in the race for the District 36 seat.
