A Tennessee man was arrested Wednesday for the murders of his missing 2-day-old daughter and the baby’s mother — who was found shot to death a day earlier.
Brandon Hoyle was slapped with multiple charges as the search for missing newborn Kennedy Hoyle continued a day after mom Danielle Hoyle was found dead near an abandoned car in Memphis on Tuesday night, Memphis police said in a statement.
“Kennedy Hoyle has not been located; however evidence suggests that she is deceased,” the statement said. “The search will continue to recover her remains.”
Police said they found an abandoned vehicle at about 11:15 p.m. and a body, which was later confirmed to be Danielle Hoyle.
A statewide Amber Alert was issued for Kennedy and family for Fox 13 Memphis that the baby’s car seat was found ditched at a Walmart on Wednesday afternoon.
The mother reportedly also had a 10-year-old daughter. Police continued to search for the child along the Mississippi River after Isabelle’s arrest.
He’s facing two counts of first degree murder, murder in the perpetration of aggravated kidnapping and tampering/fabricating with evidence, Memphis Police said.

Officials issued an Amber Alert for missing the newborn. Memphis Police Dept/TwitterDanielle’s grieving mother April Campbelle pleaded for her granddaughter Kennedy’s return through tears in an interview with WMC.
“I only held my baby 10 minutes and I haven’t seen her since,” Campbell said. “Why would someone want to hurt a baby, she’s precious. She didn’t do anything to you.”
The baby was last seen wearing a black-and-white polka dot onesie with pink pants, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said in announcing the Amber Alert. The newborn was described as weighing 6 pounds and measuring 17 inches.
