For richer or for poorer…and when luggage gets lost.
A newlywed man was forced to wear Sandals resort gear for part of his honeymoon when Delta Airlines lost his suitcase.
Shane Hasty, 32, left for an eight-day sojourn at the couples-only retreat on St. Lucia on June 3, the Daily Mail reports.

“When we got into Saint Lucia, we had no idea what was going on, so we were just going back and forth with the airport customs for hours,” Jehl told the Daily Mail.
The couple missed the whole first day of their honeymoon before they finally relented and checked in at the Sandals Grande St. Lucian Resort, where Hasty made do with a “shopping spree” at the branded shop, she explained.
“He has no toiletries, he has no underwear,” Jehl saidTikTok video, which featured her shirtless husband grabbing some shirts emblazoned with the Sandals logo.

“It felt like I was walking around with a hotel employee when he had his hotel merch on,” Jehl joked with her followers.
Hasty also admitted that he had to forgo underwear for a few days, as there were none in the nearby stores.
Hasty’s outfits were so noticeable that a resort staffer even approached the couple and asked if he was “the Sandals guy from TikTok,” Jehl claimed.
Still, the couple struggled not to focus on the missing luggage, which had about $4,000 worth of Hasty’s belongings, they told the Daily Mail.
“There were thousands of dollars [worth of items] in his bag and this was not good enough,” Jehl said of Delta’s response to the lost suitcase.
“Shane had brought all of his best clothes – all of his medication, contact lenses, toiletries and his underwear,” she added.
“It was very frustrating and it stopped us from hiking and doing things we wanted to do as he didn’t have the gear to do activities,” Jehl said, noting that her new husband got “funny looks” from fellow vacationers.
“It definitely put our honeymoon on hold for three day,” she lamented.
Hasty was also worried that he would never see the suitcase – or its contents – again.

After three days, the couple tracked the suitcase to the Dallas airport, where staffers claimed that Delta never put the luggage on their flight to the Caribbean.
“My mother-in-law finally got someone on the phone in Atlanta which was where our layover was,” Jehl told the Daily Mail.
“She was able to find the suitcase and get it sent out to us. It had got stuck in Dallas, so [Delta Airlines] never put it on the flight…We think Delta were the ones responsible for losing the bag,” she explained.
After three long days, the luggage finally arrived at the couple’s hotel room, Jehl shared in a third clip set to the “Titanic” flute music.
“It’s here, baby!” the relieved groom sighed.
The pair plans to file a formal complaint against Delta when they return to the US, they said.
“Delta teams are looking into what occurred and have contacted them in an effort to make this right. We are sorry to hear of this disruption to their honeymoon plans,” a spokesperson for the airline told The Post Thursday.
