Rob Reiner’s troubled son Nick has reportedly been placed on suicide watch after his arrest for allegedly stabbing the famed director and his wife to death inside their California home.

Nick Reiner is currently being held in administrative segregation and on suicide watch while behind bars at Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Reiner, 32, was arrested on murder charges and is being held without bail after cops found the “The Princess Bride” director and his wife, Michele, stabbed to death in their Brentwood home on Sunday afternoon.

The son of the legendary director has been in and out of rehab for his drug addiction and has faced mental health struggles over the years.

Reiner “freaked out” and had a massive blow-up with his parents at Conan O’Brien’s Christmas party on Saturday — only a day before the tragic slayings — a source confirmed to The Post.

The trio reportedly had a “very loud argument,” which was possibly fueled by Reiner going back on drugs and refusing treatment, the source said.

“They had had an argument at Conan’s holiday party, and Rob had been telling people that they’re scared for Nick and scared that his mental state was deteriorating,’’ a lifelong family friend who lives near the Reiner home told The Post.

“Nick was supposedly off drugs,” but then talk surfaced that he was “not so much off them,’’ the neighbor said.

The accused killer was, at his lowest points, “badly addicted to a combo of opiates and heroin,” the family friend added.

The Reiner family still tried to rally around Nick and help him work through his addiction and bouts of homelessness.

Rob Reiner, 78, had even assisted Nick with producing the 2015 semi-autobiographical movie “Being Charlie’’ about an 18-year-old drug addict navigating rehab.

Nick’s sister, Romy, reportedly found their parents’ bodies around 3:40 p.m. Sunday.

She had told investigators that her brother was “dangerous” and “should be a suspect.”

The nepo baby was cuffed just hours later and charged with their murders.
