A social studies teacher at a Queens all-girls school who allegedly traveled to Florida to have sex with a 16-year-old girl has also been slapped with child porn charges, prosecutors said Thursday.
Zeshaan Naqvi, 31, was arraigned on 13 counts of child pornography and one count each of out of state transmission of material harmful to a minor and unlawful sexual activity with a minor, prosecutors in Hillsborough County said.
Naqvi, a teacher at the Young Women’s Leadership School in Jamaica, was initially arrested in January after allegedly flying to Florida, picking the teen up at her home in Tampa, and taking her to a motel for sex.
He had been engaged in an online relationship with the girl for months, a spokesman for the Florida Attorney General’s Office said.
The girl allegedly told Naqvi she was 18 years old.
Naqvi was released on $60,000 bond pending arraignment — but was hit with the additional charges after investgiators contend they found child pornography on his electronic devices, the attorney general’s office said.

City education officials did not immediately reply to a request for comment Thursday.
Naqvi’s lawyer could not be reached for comment.
