Craigslist and eBay have pledged to stop the sale of scalped tickets to President Obama’s inauguration after a push from Sen. Charles Schumer.

Tickets for Monday’s ceremony, which are meant to be free, were on sale for thousands of dollars in some cases, Congress said.
