President Obama gave Jimmy Carter’s grandson a big hug for leaking the “47 percent” video that helped defeat Mitt Romney.

The former president told CNN that when Obama found James Carter at an event, he “ran across the room, embraced him and thanked him.”

In the video, Romney said “47 percent” of Americans are “victims dependent on government” and would vote for Obama “no matter what.”
