President Obama was heckled while making a speech in Chicago Tuesday to celebrate his recent immigration action.

As he said that deportations should target criminals, not families, a young woman stood up and yelled, “That has been a lie, you have been deporting families.”

She also held up a sign or shirt that read: “Stop Deportations Now.”

A man in a suit and tie sitting next to the protester grabbed her sign.

Obama responded, “What you’re not paying attention to is the fact that I just took an action to change the law.”

He went on, “The point is that, though I understand why you might have yelled at me a month ago, although I disagree with some of your characterizations, it doesn’t make much sense to yell at me right now when we’re making changes.”

The audience erupted in applause.
