WASHINGTON — For once, President Obama was left speechless.

Obama — known for his elegance at the podium and occasionally mocked for his reliance on the teleprompter — had to awkwardly stall (pictured) on live TV when aides forgot to put a copy of his remarks on the podium where he was set to talk.

“I think there’s only one problem, and that is that my remarks are not sitting here,” Obama said when he took the stage for a health-care event in California.

“By Friday afternoon, things get a little challenged,” he quipped.

Things only got worse when a harried aide tripped trying to deliver Obama’s printed remarks.
