A 19-year-old Ohio State University student was found dead at the school’s football stadium on Friday morning.

William Meyers, of Fairfield, Conn., was identified as the body found in Ohio Stadium’s northeast corner, the Columbus Dispatch reported, citing university police.

First responders were called to Ohio Stadium in Columbus just before 10 a.m. when they made the grim discovery.

Officials have not released the cause of death, but have ruled out foul play.

Meyers was a third-year accounting student at the university, according to the Lantern, the school’s student newspaper.

“Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time,” university spokesperson Ben Johnson told the outlet.

The Ohio State Buckeyes football team did not play at “The Horseshoe” on Saturday, having traveled to Seattle, where they handily defeated the University of Washington 24-6.

The defending national champions have been the top-ranked team in the FBS since their pivotal week one victory over Texas.

The 102,780-seat stadium, nicknamed “The Horseshoe” for its unique shape, was originally opened in 1922 but has undergone numerous renovations over the years.

Last May, a woman jumped to her death at the stadium during the university’s commencement ceremony.

Georgia mom Larissa Brady died after she climbed over a concrete wall and plunged to her death during her daughter’s graduation.

She died of multiple blunt force injuries and investigators ruled the death a suicide after months of speculation.

The mother had a reported history of bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder and anxiety, according to the coroner’s report.

Brady had “two prior suicide attempts,” including one earlier this year, and had quit taking her medications at the time, her husband told investigators.
