He’s fired up!

Oklahoma’s governor grilled steaks and flipped burgers under a pro-vegan billboard on Wednesday as part of an ongoing feud with an animal rights group.

Gov. Kevin Stitt held the roadside cookout under a sign paid for by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) that called the governor “a meathead.”

The sign, which includes a picture of a cow and says “Go Vegan for LIFE,” was put up after Stitt initiated a pro-agriculture “Eat Meat Week” in March, KOCO News 5 reported.

“We’re gonna stand by our agriculture industry and our personal freedoms,” Stitt, a Republican, told reporters.

“And the freedom to go vegan if you want or the freedom to eat hamburgers if you want.”

But the beef between the governor and PETA isn’t over yet.

The group’s president said it sent Stitt a back brace for the “bowing and scraping he has to do to keep his meat-industry backers happy,” the Oklahoman reported.
