Journalist Olivia Nuzzi claimed that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wanted to “possess,” “control” and “impregnate” her during their tawdry sexting tryst, according to an explosive court filing by Nuzzi’s jilted ex Ryan Lizza.

The court documents, which Nuzzi’s legal team said were “full of salacious and irrelevant claims,” came in response to a no-contact order Nuzzi filed against Lizza last month in which she claimed that he harassed and blackmailed her over the affair — and hacked her devices.

Lizza, 50, painted Nuzzi — New York Magazine’s star Washington correspondent — as a lost and heartbroken lover who desperately tried to save their engagement after he dumped her, according to the documents filed in Washington, DC’s Superior Court last week.

Lizza also alleged that this was not the first time Nuzzi cheated on him – previously sinking a joint book deal over an affair in 2020.

He said he confronted Nuzzi, 31, and broke off their engagement on Aug. 17 after learned that she had been carrying on with the nearly-40-years-her-senior RFK Jr. for almost a year, according to the filing.

He did not say how he learned of Nuzzi’s affair with John F. Kennedy’s nephew – but sources previously told The Post that the couple was not particularly discreet about their dalliance.

Lizza — Politico’s chief Washington correspondent, who is currently on leave from the publication’s popular and influential Playbook — denied that he leaked details of the relationship to her editor or to the press, and refuted her allegations of hacking — claiming that everything he learned of the affair with Kennedy — who is married to actress Cheryl Hines — came from Nuzzi’s own tearful admissions as she tried to win him back, the filing said.

According to Lizza, Nuzzi described RFK Jr., who has six children, as a “70-year-old ‘sex addict’ who told her he wanted to ‘possess,’ ‘control,’ and ‘impregnate’ her.” She further said the affair was “toxic, unhealthy, stupid, psychotic, crazy, indefensible” and claimed that RFK Jr. had manipulated her due to the “huge power disparity.”

Lizza’s summation of RFK Jr.’s proclivities square with the ex-presidential candidate’s own words — taken from a personal diary viewed exclusively by The Post — in which he confessed to being a slave to “wild impulses” and “powerful demons” when it comes to sex, and even admitting to at times feeling “out of control.”

The court filing alleges Nuzzi begged Lizza to rekindle the relationship several times after the breakup in desperate text messages in which she claimed to be “so lonely,” “lost” and “heartbroken.”

The couple spent a few weekends together following the breakup, Lizza said in the filing — describing a “sobbing” Nuzzi expressing her love, along with her fear that Lizza would never contact her again, the filing read.

Lizza added that Nuzzi “resisted any effort to formally end our relationship and she repeatedly asked for more time to consider our future.”

He also refuted claims that he threatened Nuzzi with physical violence or disclosed Nuzzi’s relationship with Kennedy to her editors at New York Magazine.

Instead, he said, Nuzzi said he “saved her job” by urging her not to report details that RFK Jr. gave her during their affair.

He said he also repeatedly urged her to tell her editor about the affair — but she refused, according to the filing.

Nuzzi alleged in her court filing against Lizza earlier this month that he orchestrated her fall from grace at the glossy magazine, claiming he tipped off her employer, potentially “through a third party or anonymous channel.”

She’s been on leave from New York Magazine since news broke in September.

The Kennedy scion has said he and Nuzzi met only once — and he told the Wall Street Journal that Lizza’s description of the relationship was not accurate.

Nuzzi’s attorneys also hit back at Lizza’s court filing.

“We reiterate what Ms. Nuzzi said in her request for a protective order: That Mr. Lizza’s intent is to harass and humiliate Ms. Nuzzi and that he is utilizing the press to do so — some of the very issues that drove Ms. Nuzzi to file for a protective order in the DC Superior Court,” the lawyers said.

“Filings such as this, full of salacious and irrelevant claims that we will not dignify with a response, further his efforts, as described in her initial filing for the protective order. Her only objective in seeking intervention from law enforcement and the court is to ensure her safety and be left alone.”

Nuzzi reportedly started sexting with Kennedy shortly after she featured the then-independent presidential candidate in New York magazine.

She reportedly sent him “demure nudes” and the two even had “incredible” sex over FaceTime, a source told Page Six — with Nuzzi relaying that Kennedy’s sexual stamina was impressive.

“Olivia told multiple people that they told each other they loved each other [over the phone] every time they talked,” a source also revealed.

Nuzzi’s legal fight with Lizza in court comes as her magazine conducts a “more thorough third-party review” of Nuzzi’s work after an initial probe found no evidence of bias.
