One person was arrested Monday following a shooting at a Walmart in Arizona, according to reports.
The situation started around 5 a.m. local time at the superstore in the town of Taylor, Stewart Bishop, a spokesman for the Snowflake-Taylor Police Department, told AZFamily.
A witness told the outlet that a gunman fired warning shots into the air.
“There continues to be an ongoing investigation at this time, so we ask that you still please avoid the Walmart area,” local authorities posted on Facebook. “Early this morning there was an active threat involving an armed subject and Walmart employees before the store had opened.”
“We are happy to report that the suspect is in custody and thankfully there were no injuries sustained,” police added.
No other details surrounding the incident have been released.
