A shooting that broke out in a Los Angeles neighborhood left one person dead and two others injured Saturday night, authorities said.

Officers responded to a building in the Boyle Heights neighborhood shortly before 9 p.m. on a call of a suspect opening fire at a group of people, KNBC-TV reported citing the LAPD.

Police say the suspect fled the scene.

One man was killed, and two other victims — a 25-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman — were rushed to the hospital, according to local reports.

The woman was in critical condition, police said. Cops continue to hunt for the suspect.
