The widow of the Orlando nightclub shooter will appear before a federal judge Tuesday to face her indictment on charges of aiding and abetting her husband’s support of the Islamic State.
Noor Salman is accused of misleading FBI and police investigations following the June 12, 2016, attack on the Pulse nightclub.
Her husband, Omar Mateen, was killed in a shootout after he slaughtered 49 patrons in the Florida nightspot.
Salman, who has been living in San Francisco with her family since Mateen’s death, was arrested Monday in connection with the bloodbath.
An indictment unsealed in Oakland federal court Tuesday claims she “did knowingly aid and abet” her spouse.
Salman’s attorneys say she had no advance knowledge of the massacre.
