Orlando, Florida’s aptly named new police chief will be Orlando Roland.

Roland, 54, now the city’s deputy chief , will take over the reigns on Dec. 2, when the department’s current boss, John Mina, retires.

Roland, whose appointment was announced Thursday, will be the city’s first Hispanic police chief, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
