Chilling dashcam footage appears to catch the moment that Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, who shot a soldier dead at Ottawa’s War Memorial, got into a car he had stolen moments before storming the Parliament.

He was eventually shot dead by the sergeant-at-arms as shocked politicians and journalists barricaded themselves in rooms.

Dozens of shots were fired in the exchange, which took place yards away from where Prime Minister Stephen Harper was speaking.
