This video captures the chilling moment before a Palestinian woman stabbed an Israeli security guard near Jerusalem on Sunday before being shot.

The woman approached the civilian guard at the gate to the Beitar Illit development. He asked to see her ID, and, as he inspected her papers, she pulled a knife from her purse and began slashing him.

The guard drew his weapon and shot her. Both were expected to survive.
