A parolee who caused a four-car pile-up in Milwaukee ran from the crash scene to hide in the bushes — and wound up freezing to death, according to a report.
Mark Henderson, 34, who was on parole for pleading guilty to a 2012 fatal hit-and-run, had blown through a red light on Dec. 30, causing the 2 p.m. crash, ABC affiliate WISN-TV reported.
Instead of remaining at the scene, Henderson made a mad dash into the bushes in his attempt to evade police.
The man’s body was discovered between a shed and a wooden fence the next day by his girlfriend, according to the news outlet.
Experts said the average temperature in Milwaukee last month was 25 degrees.
