Hundreds of people participated in a “Count Every Vote” protest in Philadelphia on Wednesday night as Pennsylvania was still tallying mail-in ballots that could decide the outcome of the election.

The group marched through the city bearing “Count Every Vote” signs and later converged with a Black Lives Matter protest related to the police killing of Walter Wallace Jr., The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Pennsylvania, a key battleground state, has emerged as a must-win for President Trump to keep his hopes of a second term alive.

With 88 percent of the state’s vote tallied, Trump led Biden by about 259,500 votes, according to the Associated Press.

But over 2.5 million mail-in ballots were cast in the state. By early Wednesday night, 735,000 of the ballots still needed to be counted, giving Biden a realistic chance at overtaking Trump once the dust settles, NBC10 reported.

Twenty electoral votes are up for grabs in the tight race.

Trump’s campaign prematurely claimed victory in Pennsylvania, while Biden said earlier Wednesday he felt confident he could come out on top in his home state.

The president’s campaign on Wednesday also filed a lawsuit against the Keystone State, demanding better access to ballot counting locations.
