SOUDERTON, Pa. — Authorities outside Philadelphia said six people were dead and one was wounded in multiple homes and the suspect remained on the loose.
Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman identified the suspect in the Monday morning shootings as 35-year-old Bradley William Stone. She said all of the victims have a “familial relationship” to Stone.
Police officers converged on a home in Pennsburg, about 30 miles northwest of Philadelphia. They were using a megaphone to compel an end to their daylong pursuit of Stone.
“Bradley, this is the police department!” an officer yelled. “Come to the front door with your hands up. You’re under arrest.”
Ferman said Stone was known to use a cane or walker.
