Placido Domingo’s already singing a different tune.

The embattled opera legend on Thursday walked back his apology to the dozens of women accusing him of sexual misconduct — just two days after saying he accepted “full responsibility.”

Domingo, 79, had on Tuesday said he was “truly sorry for the hurt that I caused,” claiming that he had “grown” after a period of reflection and accepted “full responsibility for my actions.”

He released a second statement Thursday to “correct the false impression generated by my apology” — and apparently insist he actually did nothing wrong.

“I know what I haven’t done and I will deny it again. I never behaved aggressively with anyone and I have never done anything to obstruct or impede anyone’s career,” he said, according to Agence France-Presse.

While he announced that he was withdrawing from “La Traviata” at Madrid’s Teatro Real and other operas over the scandal, he insisted that his apology was for hurting feelings, not for sexual impropriety.

“My apology was sincere and from the bottom of my heart to any colleagues whom I could have hurt in any way by something I said or did,” he said, according to the AFP.

“As I have demonstrated on many occasions, it was never my attention to hurt or offend anyone.”

Domingo’s original apology came after an investigation by the American Guild of Musical Artists concluded he had behaved inappropriately with female performers.

The guild concluded that the accounts from 27 people showed a clear pattern of sexual misconduct and abuse of power spanning at least two decades, according to those who spoke to the Associated Press, the agency that first investigated the claims against him.

Domingo was scheduled to sing as Giorgio Germont for five nights in May in the prestigious Spanish Teatro Real.

Spain’s culture ministry on Wednesday also canceled his performances in the operetta “Luisa Fernanda” at the Zarzuela Theatre in May in solidarity with women who had been affected by his alleged sexual misconduct.
